So, last week was a bit busy.  We got the call Monday am that the shipper would be there Tuesday am.  That meant a quick change of plans: rent a car and drive to VA for the night.  Tuesday morning came and went without a hitch.  Both Zimmerman Marine and Boat Lovers Transport were both professional and compentent, and Tatiana was smoothly loaded on the truck.  Here are a few pics:

And we're off to TN!

Our first year and a half of ownership was a distant one. We continue to live in Chattanooga, TN, and our boat was living near Deltaville, VA. We had some fun adventures with her on the bay, but we are wearing our car with the drive, and it is time to bring her home to TN. Our last sail on the bay ended with perfection. While the breeze was light, we were able to fly our asymmetrical into the sunset...

We then switched to full dissambly mode, getting her ready for over land transport.  First we unstepped the mast...

She's been hauled out of the water...

Cleaned and prep'd for shipment

And so is her mast...

In short, that was our 4th of July weekend this year.
